Answer
MVP (Minimum Viable Product). Coined in the context of the Lean Startup methodology popularized by Eric Ries, an MVP is used to test core assumptions with real users as quickly and cheaply as possible. The goal is not to build a finished product, but to maximize learning per dollar and iteration cycle. Dropbox famously used a demo video as their MVP before writing a single line of production code.
