In Hindu mythology, which sage is credited with composing the Ramayana?
Wrong
Answer given
Vishwamitra
Answer
Valmiki is traditionally regarded as the Adi Kavi (first poet) and the author of the Ramayana, one of the two great Sanskrit epics of ancient India. He composed the 24,000-verse epic narrating the life of Rama, after the divine sage Narada revealed the story to him. Vyasa, another great sage, is credited with composing the Mahabharata, not the Ramayana.
